  1. Flyers ownership are a disgrace ? Flyers have had bad GM’s since the mid 80’s quite frankly.

  2. WOW!! This is breaking news for sure-GM Fletcher is gone in Philly–yeah, the timing is strange , indeed,. Why didn't they wait until the season was over, at least? Well, change was definitely needed as the Flyers have been a mess for a few years now. Good luck to new interim GM Briere, hopefully, he gets the job full-time and can turn things around .

  3. We pens fans would like to give you( flyer fans) a candidate back for gm! You can have Hexatall back !

  4. The biggest gift a flyers fan could have ever gotten. My brother is very pleased with this for sure. So glad i'm a devils fan and not of that dumpster fire that is philly right now

  5. This is long overdue. And why are we celebrating homosexuality at a hockey game. What a joke that would be like Christians making all the gays wear the ✝️.

  6. Why do the flyers keep hiring former players it never works in any sport. They need too hire someone with no ties with players thzts going too come in and take care of business.

  7. Lmao, running your business depending on what Twitter says? This should work out good for philly, it worked so well for disney. 🤷

  8. Been attending since 1967. Tired of the hiring within and the personel drafting young players needs changing. Stop with the old ways and mindset. Hockey world has been changing every year without the Flyers following suit.

  9. As a former Flyers season ticket holder for 25 years, the word to describe my fandom is apathy. I’ve lost so much faith in ownership nothing moves the radar for me with the team anymore. I’ve been saying for 10 years they needed to blow up this team, blow up management, and rebuild everything. I’m hopeful it may actually happen as the backlash among Flyers fans is something I haven’t seen before. This is a loyal fanbase as we are a family, and the fanbase revolted at a season ticket townhall with the GM last weekend (someone posted it and it went viral on Twitter ). The proof is still in the pudding, as they have to back it up and blow up the roster this summer. If they do another retool, then it was all window dressing.

  10. I'm not a Flyers fan by any means–rather, I root for the Blues, so I appreciate Fletcher taking Jori Lehtera's contract in exchange for Braden Schenn–but respect the franchise and its history as a hockey fan. All I have to say is, about f#^king time! Not since Mike Keenan's reign of terror in St. Louis (1994-97) has a single man so completely ruined a franchise as has Fletcher in Philly, and this move is long overdue. Philly is a proud hockey town and they deserve better. Keeping my fingers crossed that Comcast wakes up and realizes sometimes the best business move isn't always what's best for the business. Firing Fletcher is a start down that road, but unless they hire a replacement who has their finger on the pulse of Flyers fans and understands how important the success of the franchise is not only to the city but also the entire league, nothing really changes here. Call me crazy but maybe it'd be a good thing if the Pens don't make the playoffs, Hexy gets fired there and is immediately hired by the Flyers. At least he has ties to, and a history in Philly, and would take personally the mess Fletcher has left behind. Philly deserves somebody who understands the city and the team's history running it, and hockey fans in general do, too; same as Stevie Y in Detroit. I'm pulling for you, Philly, and hoping the Fletcher nightmare is over.

  11. Sir, we don’t need another ex-Flyer in the mix. And the ‘3 Kings’ who have no clue what they’re doing (and were never held accountable for their inactions) need to go.

Very serious problem when those Stooges are advising Dave Scott. Time for him to go also.

Lastly: please…Ex-Flyers or heirs need not apply.
