Congrats to Kane for his goal – sad its for the wrong team. hope some day soon Blackhawks get there act together, fix this franchise back to a winning team, and Kane returns.
You can see after the turnover he felt bad. This is why I feel for him right now. He’s trying to fit into a new team and before scoring he probably felt like he isn’t contributing to the team. So after scoring his first goal I believe he will start to settle into his game and explode in the next few games coming. It must be hard for him and he’s hard on himself. But we love Kane for what he already did in the sport. Not what we think he can bring to the team now. So no matter what having him in New York is such a treat even if they don’t win a cup. With that said if they happen to win this year no matter what he did in Chicago he will forever be a Blackhawk and a Ranger. You win with a team you’ll always be part of that team. Just like the mike Keenan said in 94. You win together you walk together forever. Something like that. Exciting times are ahead.
