Demko: I’ve been here a long time. I’m not a guy that runs away when things get hard. I think we have the pieces here (to win). I don’t think there’d be a better feeling in the world than being a part of the team that brought a cup to this city

I hope your right Demko…I hope your right…but I have a leather heart from years of waiting.

  2. Big middle finger to those trying to manufacture that he “wanted out”. Sure players lie all the time but nothing has actually indicated that Demko wanted out

Moving out Horvat really woke this team up it got rid of the country club vibe and now a work hard mentality is being instilled by Tocchett. It’s up to them to stop the talking and do the walking they keep showing us glimpses of how great they can be.

I appreciate him saying that. We’ll believe it all when we see it though 😂

He is a goalie that can do deep in the playoffs

  6. tbf having Demko back healthy and playing well goes a long way to making winning easier. The Canucks simply should not have the league’s worst team sv% unless something has gone seriously wrong

  7. Yeah right, it’s easier at the end of the season because you’ve rested for the entire season lol

Demko and Silvos might be the best tandem in the league in 2024 or 2025

Demko has been an absolute pro this entire time. Really hard not to cheer for him and the talent level is certainly there

Anyways time to tank it point has been canucks can win if they put their mind to it. Save it for next yr we need a good draft position

I hope so Demer, heard a startling fact today on sportsnet that were the only team to be to the finals 3 times wothout winning the cup for the first time. Lets go get it boys!!!

I just want this team to get in the playoffs once with the roster we have just once to see what happens. I think it could be an “awakening” moment for the franchise as a whole. We either have the team to make a push or we’re totally fucked. But either way I just want one week where it’s like the bubble and everyone was fucking hyped to watch the games.

I think after one more year of disappointing results the narrative to trade Demko is going to be massive.

It IS super refreshing to hear this core be so invested in being part of a cup winning team here, growing pains hopefully disappear this year

All i ask is one stanley cup before i die

We have real great core pieces. We don’t have good enough supporting pieces or management to build around the few gems we have.

I just want the Canucks to finally win a Stanley Cup so I can stop thinking about the disappointment of 2011.

I think in many cases players have much more patience than fans do about their careers
