  1. Great video really hope Arizona turns the corner and sees long term playoff births. The fans really deserve it

  2. Thank you so much for this! As a Coyotes fan it gets old hearing the negativity surrounding the franchise. We want to keep the team, they want to stay, and the future looks bright!

  3. A Sports Arena is never, ever a net positive for all taxpayers. And there is nothing negative about taxpayers questioning a deal like this.

  4. Living in AZ 20yrs, from MN, all I can say is we need you to show up to a Tempe city council meeting with your white board.

  5. Keller's a keeper and could be the captain some day but both Crouse and Schmaltz could and probably should be moved for picks/prospects provided that the moves make sense.

As for will players want to play there? Of course they will, what with the weather, golfing and low taxes not to mention a team that figures to be very competitive provided that the front office continues to draft well.

  6. Honestly I hope this tempe plan works out for them so they can shut up all the haters, not really a coyotes fan but I'd love to see them be good sometime in the future (plus their jerseys are always so clean man)

  7. Feels like they really need to make a BIG bid on Mathews in 2025. If I'm Arizona I'm already budgeting to offer him well north of $13mil AAV to try to convince him to save the franchise. Even then, it's tough

  8. The hockey plan is not the problem. The business plan is.

On the hockey side they had no assets on the team to help acquire picks to restart a rebuild cycle, but they were original and moneyed cap space instead. It's not absolutely new, but doing it in mass like they are doing it is & it's genius.

  9. THANK YOU, SHANNON! I was always favorable to the Yotes because I was born in Utah, but I have become a massive Yotes fan this year. They won't pass Vegas or Edmonton (where I live), but I love how everybody has made the absolute best of this embarassing saga. I totally respect that. I love the plan, and man it would be funny if the Yotes got a cup in this era of hockey before the Leafs and their social media page on Instagram is actually pretty fun. Whatever happens, there better be a documentary about this. This rebuild truly is the most ultimate and fascinating one I can think of. I mean, not only are they rebuilding their roster, they're rebuilding their fanbase and arena. They have also made deals with a famous designer (who came up with their third jerseys) and Shaq's chicken restaurant.

  10. The people of Tempe will be insane to do this, it will still be 300 million of public money and Tempe can't afford that and will never make this money back. It may be a decade before we just start efficiently burning garbage, also while 1 in 10 may watch a game or two in Canada per season, what is it there? 1 in 10,000?

  11. Thank you so much for this video. I wish I were a Tempe resident so I could vote yes. My husband is a native Arizonan (I'm originally from Connecticut) and he loves the Coyotes, but is so jaded about having high hopes any Arizona sports team will ever bring home a championship. I genuinely feel like the new direction the team has taken will bring home that cup one day at last.

  12. This means the Coyotes have a better culture than the Canucks, we've never managed to rebuild a single player, well, that's wrong, I guess, Miller might count, but we didn't do anything with him.

  13. Sleeper prospect watch for Arizona: John Fairnacci late bloomer, could easily sign and make the team next season

  14. No I understand a little better that they traded Chychrun. The worse they are the next three years the better it will be in the long run, because their draft picks will be higher. Chychrun would maybe have improved them 2-3 spots on rankings.

  15. I disagree with the statement that 'the argument to move the team will be gone'. Just because they can't move the team, doesn't make it a smart and profitable destination, especially if they're not able to sell tickets in this brand new arena. It's still a bad destination and they should be moved, until they can actually sell a decent amount of tickets I'll always resent them.

  16. Is there a video on Coyotes & Gretzky saga? Maybe even a Gretzky coaching career video šŸ˜€

  17. The only tax payers that will pay for this will go to the people who buy or get a service done in the entertainment district, not to the community as a whole

  18. I dont think deciding to rebuild was odd… Remember Chayka? He built a huge mess and that had to be rebuilt.

  19. Betman will give Bedard as a gift 2 coyotes and then the new building will b approved . Shocked šŸ˜² šŸ¤£ šŸ¤£ šŸ¤£ wut a crock

  20. Interesting if that goes through then Arizona has a hockey team for 30 years. Then the relocation talks might begin again in 2053.
