How did the NHL let the Bruins do this…

I CAN’T BELIEVE the nhl let the boston Bruins get away with this. The fact that the BOSTON BRUINS traded for Dmitry Orlov is unfair

I created this video to show that Dmitry Orlov has been playing amazing so far with the Boston Bruins. Orlov has been amazing both offensively and defensively. He has been the Boston Bruins best player on the ice the last few games. Orlov has scored goals, set up goals, and has been playing amazing defensively. He has helped show that the Boston Bruins are the favourites to win the Stanley Cup.

  1. Bruins are a rich team in terms of both money and the fact they are usually on a lot of short lists for players preferred landing spots. SO dealing away draft picks doesn't mean as much to them as it does to some other teams. That being said… usually their cores were developed in a draft.

  2. As a Caps fan, this is yet another dumb move in a list of dumb moves by our GM McClellan. Im sure he didnt even get a reach-around after the trade. hate the B's, but Ive found myself watching their games since the trade. People are seeing the offensive side of Orlov….but not sure if they realize the hits this guy has laid out during his time with the Caps. I remember one time he completely sumersaulted Duschene (I think it was) with a hip check. Not to mention too many other open ice step up crushes.

  3. Hate the BRUINS! They SWEEP every game right to the CUP. 16-0. I hate them. FIRST NHL team to win EVERY playoff game and Championship Game.

  4. yeah the Bruins right now are playing a very up-tempo attacking style of hockey that is a pleasure to watch. They were kind of an older team without a lot of size/length or speed; but now, through their various personnel moves and the coaching of Jim Montgomery, they’re now magically faster, quicker, bigger, longer. They encourage their defense to join the transitions/rushes and they swarm the opposing offensive zone with overloads and prolonged pressure. They’re good in all three zones. Oh… and by the way… their goalies are playing out of their minds. They look like they’re having a lot of fun out there on the ice. Winning is the best deodorant. Certain teams do give them trouble, like Carolina. They are also fast, quick and have good length. They’re good at interrupting cross-ice passing (something the Bruins love to do). The playoffs should be fascinating.

  5. Lovin' every minute of it. The new coach was the best thing the Bruins needed. He let them loose and now we see what should have been. It's a work of art watching them interact with one another. Sometimes you'll see a turnover in a bad spot but the chances they take overcome the mistakes. The Stanley Cup is all that matters. The regular season has been magical but it won't matter if you fall short of the ultimate prize. Go Bruins!!!

  6. Kudos to you sir, for praising my Boston Bruins. It is so sweet to hear educated fans of other teams compliment them on their play this year. Of course if they don' t win it all it will be a huge disappointment for the team and fans, but especially for Patrice Bergeron. He's quietly been the consummate professional leading by example with consistency and class for 20 years. They need to stay healthy but I don't think this team will get pushed around too much in the playoffs this year, we can hold our own and then some. Hopefully this will be the season of the Lord Stanley's Cup for the Bs !!

  7. Well being a lifelong Boston Bruins fan I am hopeful that they go all the way this year. Can’t stand Montreal and why not ask how Montreal was able to keep all the great players that were from Quebec, in the 60’s and 70’s.

  8. I am a Bruins fan and it's nice that someone who isn't can still say the facts and give them compliments.
Some fans are soo diehard they won't admit anything good about other teams.
The Bruins are locked and loaded. As long as they can stay healthy, and keep good momentum going, there is a real good chance we will see them in the finals for the cup. 💛🖤🐻 Go Bruins.

  9. The Bruins are setting up themselves for a crazy amount of pressure the better they keep doing. Just look at the Lightning from 2018-19………….

  10. Dima has always been a beast, just a number of years where he didn’t have the best supporting staff since after the caps won in 2018. This is just the rest of the hockey world finding out what we caps fans already knew.

  11. God h hope the Bruins set the record against Montreal. Please let it happen. It won’t take away all the disappointment served up by them, but it sure will help even things out a little.😁

  12. Hearing the pain in your voice while talking up the Bruins is priceless…….I miss beating up on the Habs. Hopefully they remember how to play hockey again one day and can rejoin the big boys.

  13. What is a Montreal Canadians fan doing talking about the Boston Bruins. You don’t like the Bruins but you want to talk about them. Buddy you got serious problems.

  14. I’ve been watching this Bruins team since 1958. I’ve been skeptical about a lot of teams. I believe this one’s taking it all if they stay healthy.

  15. James pretends like he's a Canadians fan, but you can tell that the Bruins are secretly his favorite team.

  16. Bruins all the way!! Playoff hockey is a different animal but hopefully we rest up, don’t worry about regular season record and win it all!

  17. ya, script writers are pretty creative… well, not really… but the fans are so drunk they don't clue into anything

  18. No shock to me, I've raved about Orlov for at least 2 years, the Caps made a horrible move trading him, and Hathaway for that matter. Orlov's one of the best skaters in the NHL and him paired with Lindholm is defeinitely the best pairing in the league. Short of injury, it's impossible to not see them winning the Cup, the already best team just got a lot better.

  19. The Bruins are playing great, I just hope that the veterans don't get too tired before the playoffs, if they manage playing time until then, they should be fine. Sorry your Habs suck James…NOT!!!!

  20. This is similar to what the Canes did in 2006 by acquiring Recchi and Weight. When you feel it's time, you have to go all in.

  21. You mean the team who employed Colin Campbell's kid while he worked for the NHL? Gosh, what a coincidence

  22. As soon as Kane finishes jelling with the rest of the crew it will be just in time for NY to take BOS out

  23. "We will win tomorrow versus the Big Bad Bruins. We should've won the last game. Yama missed two tap ins!" – Oiler Game Plan Coordinator 😎

  24. I appreciate your honesty, seriously, it’s rare that a fan of the “evil empire” as I call them (huge BRUINS fan) can admit that there’re other teams that even exist!😆😆😆
    So good on ya!

  25. I’m going out on a limb here by saying the Bruins have a great regular season team, able to walk over most teams on any given game, but the playoffs are a totally different animal, it’s seven games long and by the third game the other team usually has a better game plan to deal with overachieving regular season players and that’s when most highly ranked teams choke, it’s happened so many times in the first round it’s almost a given.

  26. I doubt Orlov is a good acquisition. Russian losers normally fold under pressure in the play-off battles.

  27. Will be interesting to see if the presidents trophy curse strikes again. (yea yea b fans I know this time its different your loaded with talent, 2013 was the last time presidents trophy winners hoisted the cup)

  28. Don't forget hathaway is no slouch and then to add bertuzzi good old cap circuitvention at its finest

  29. Bro when I saw them against the stars, they looked like one player was controlling them. They executed everything so perfectly and persicely.

  30. We owned them again tonight, Bruins too slow! They once again got some weak goals and built a two goal lead….but we came back! McD and Drai didnt get any points, if they had, we would've pounded them! …Meet you in the final! If you get there! 😎

  31. They needed a second line and they now have one with a new great Defenseman that scores as well. They were good with just the one line but now it may be a slam dunk in the playoffs
