Listen up, no matter if this was my #Bruins, if your goalie comes out the crease like that and puts his stick in the middle of the opponents players legs and trips him, how the flying f*ck do you HONESTLY think that's not a trip??? Cmon guy, I love Pasta and the Bruins but if Ulmark did this to Buffalo, id have no complaint besides maybe a "ok, it is what it is, we gotta kill this penalty." I understand people loving their teams but to call this a "Garbage Call"?!?! You just hating! Cmon now.

As a Sabres fan, there have been a couple of garbage calls against us in the last few games, but this was not one of them. UPL got his stick tangled up in his legs and lifted it a bit too, so yeah definitely tripping imo.
That commentator sounds like an angry peewee league parent. Get a hold of yourself, guy. Not only was it the correct call, it was a dangerous play that could have easily resulted in an injury.
yeah it's a blatant trip and a clueless announcer, still less frustrating than the idiots here who act like a goalie should get shot if he steps 1 inch outside his crease
the applied rule most often is that if you play the puck first it isnt a trip, this should fall under that same judgement. garbage call? maybe. but definitely a soft and abnormal call
Everyone in the comments acting like walking right into the goalie and falling over him is a crime. Just say you want him to put a red carpet leading to the net.

I play goalie. That was a trip. The garbage call came from the announcer not the refs.
