    You could see it in the Vegas game, you could see it in the Winnipeg game, and you most certainly see it in this game, we’re a contending team. This was one of the most complete games of hockey we’ve played in weeks, against one of the best teams in the league, on the road, and without our captain.

    Let’s sweep this series.

    Like I said last PGT effort has been getting back up there. Process over results right now but if you play the right way with this group results follow. Can really get back to standard with the tougher schedule coming up

    Here what i think. Many people in GDT says that our defence are very good tonight. No, at all. Our defence was ok, but nothing more. Overall almost all bolts are wake up today and have a lot of energy (and Bagel have more;), NJ all 2&3 periods just defends only, they don’t have much power to attack. So, when all team is played well, our defence play well to. We have very good defence, even without McD. But when offence are out of gas, defence cannot work all 60min without mistakes, and often D also out of gas, sometimes Vasy helps, but off not in all games.

    Great performance against a very good team. Didn’t agree with the GI overturn though, personally.

    Excellent game. I’ve really enjoyed the way we’ve played the last 2 games. Hagel was all over the place tonight. Let’s keep it up!

    I’ve been hesitant to say anything because of superstitious reasons but during the whole slump I really noticed that Hagel just seemed to be fighting the puck and nothing was working for him. Tonight was an everything bagel and it was so awesome to see! He’s just got a motor that doesn’t quit at all! This is the team we know and love!

    Shot in the dark – distant thunder in the DC area…was this game blacked out for anyone else around here? News to me that New Jersey is in-market for DC according to ESPN.
