The Dallas Stars (37-17-13) took down the Seattle Kraken in blowout fashion on Monday. The Stars overwhelmed the Kraken with excellent special teams play that featured a perfect penalty kill and a power play that went 3/4.     How about that Dadonov guy, eh? Definitely a lesson learned for me, to show prudence before drawing a conclusion. He’s quietly racked up a point per game with the Stars.

    I remember having the same feeling about Pete DeBoer when first announced – cautiously optimistic, but simultaneously fighting off the fear that it was a bad choice. Regardless of what happens, it has been such an entertaining season. If Dallas continuous to play the way to are right now, I think they have a fighting chance against anyone in the west.

    I'd like to see them play Edmonton in the first round. No team wins playoff series with that level of goaltending, even with the best player since Gretzky.
