  1. It's the same old story we all know. Goaltending wins playoff rounds. We all know that Tampa and Toronto are evenly matched, but it's going to come down to goaltending, and we know that Tampa has better goaltending! Unless Murray is immune to injuries and gets really really hot, then I can see them competing with Tampa

  2. Must be that time of year again Leaf fans hahahahaha….. Then again there's always next year after another 1st round collapse

  3. How Murray plays between now and the playoffs is going to be telling. If he can't get back into the groove and remain healthy, the Leafs' outlook is going to be up in the air.

  4. I hate the Leafs but if they can get past the first round they can make the Cup final and if they get reasonable goaltending they can win it.

  5. He is right, TBL is beginning to run out of gas, 3 seasons in a row in the final, 2 back to back cups, and almost non-stop hockey since September of 2021. They lost Rutta, Palat, and McDonagh, little wiggle room in the cap, and an aging core players (Stamkos, Hedman, Perry, Bellemare, Maroon), not only aging, but becoming injury prone as well. Lastly, they lost what I believe was one of the biggest brains in Cooper's coaching operation, Derek LaLonde. Is there still life to TBL? Yes! Are they still a threat? Yes! Despite this, TBL is not as bullet proof as they were the past 3-4 years, there is holes in their squad now, even if TBL does manage to get home ice in against Toronto, this is going to be much different then last year, Toronto even more formidible this year than last.

  6. Even with everyone the Lightning lost, how mediocre they’ve looked defensively this year, how tired they may be. The Lightning will ALWAYS have the one X factor that is Vasy

  7. Probably depends if ROR can play that shutdown role needed, and if McCabe and Schenn can be the defensive pieces needed to hold down the fort.

  8. Tampa has the better goalie at the moment. Tampa also has the recent better track record of playing better around their goalie come playoff time.

  9. 1967.

My kids kids have had kids in the time the leafs haven't won a cup. Generations of people have come and gone. Nothing but wealthy losers, nothing more. And all you fools bleeding blue lol… they are bleeeding you dry.

  10. Ok, so they get past the Lightning but neither team is getting past the Bruins, especially not the Leafs.

  11. It's possible, but after that it's rangers Boston or Carolina, so that's where it ends. Goaltending.

  12. I think they'll demolish Tampa… but will fall to the Bruins in the 2nd or 3rd Round!! My worry is that MLSE won't resign Dubas if they fall to Boston… and that could be the beginning of the end for the Leafs! If Matthews walks… that team could unfold to the basement quickly!!

  13. Lol don’t fall for it Leafs fans. It will only disappoint you

  14. As a Leafs fan, I believe they can beat the Lightning. But I'm less sure that they can beat Andrei Vasilevskiy

  15. Yea, they might finally beat Lightning in game 7 only to be swept by the Bruins nxt round.

  16. It's Happy Hour?

Jokes aside, as long as Tampa has Vasilevskiy and the Leafs have …whoever, the Lightning have the advantage. Brayden Point is gonna feast.

  17. Loosing Rutta & Mcdonagh has definitely hurt Tampa Bay. And Tampa’s power play is hurting as well. And Vassy can’t carry the bolts by himself. So it hurts me to say because I bleed Tampa Bay. But this could very well be Toronto’s year getting past the first round.
