It’s a paywalled article, so I can’t copy paste the whole thing, but this was the opener to the article. It’s a great article on Podz and his journey over the last couple of years.
Seeing pod and hog fall asleep of boredom would be quite a funny scene. Def an oversight of Hughes to take two ESL people to Dune.

So *The Batman* > *Dune* confirmed? 😂

Also it was a nice chance for Hughes to show them the movie that he was the starring actor in.

This part on Miller is also wholesome: > Podkolzin immediately flashes a huge smile when the topic of his teammates comes up. He genuinely loves them for the support they’ve provided. J.T. Miller, for example, took Podkolzin under his wing during his first training camp, guiding him through exactly what to do during the on-ice sessions when his English was still a bit choppy.

I hope I never hear shit talk about JT again

> “Russian guys we have a different mentality,” explained Podkolzin. “When the team loses (in Vancouver), everybody says,‘Yeah we lose today, but we can get better tomorrow,’ and it’s not (the) end of (the) world. For me, in Russia, if I lose once, I begin to think, ‘Oh my God, I’m a suck player.’ These guys get it easier.

That movie blew. Not surprised Hogs and Podz were bored.
Interstellar is at least rooted in the real world with understandable science. Even without the language barrier, Dune is utter gibberish to everyone except those already familiar with Dune.
