Jets need a leader. The most leadership last night was from 62! Says a lot about this team. When the going gets tough certain players are totally invisible or are making glaring errors! Pionk hasn’t fulfilled promise so far but I would lump 26,55,81,27,17,and 80 in the same boat! Don’t make the plays when it is so desperately needed. This is not a new trend.
Demalo is just as useless if not woret than Pionk. I can't stand that pansy, He does not use his body to check, does not block shots and only poke checks with his stick. There is a reason why he is never injured, only when he breaks a nail and he is out for a few games.
Morrissey should be next Captain for Jets next core. With Ehlers,Connor, Perfetti, Lowry,Lambert,Neidereitter Heinola,Lucius,Mcgroarty, maybe Wagner.
Alot of questions next year Wheelers last year,Scheifele and Hellebuyck last seasons 30yrs old. Are they Part of next core or ger massive haul for both. Dubois trade. Guys who are aging or could trade let go Dillion,Schmidt, Pionk, Stanley, Barron, Appleton, Gagner. Example
And get 2 Tier 2 goalies split load if moved Hellebuyck,if young guys not ready sign FA up value and flip at trade deadline for picks 2024. Or show can be part of future. Players like toews, dumba,Tatar,Severson,Hamonic, Soucy, Gudas, Jost, Mayfield, pavelski, ect maybe PTO Nolan Patrick Or trade for guys like provorov/sanheim,younger prospects like Ty Smith,Ostapchuk, Turcotte, Zadina, Schneider,Fabbro,Foote ect. Goalies varlamov,Andersen,Bernier,Reimer,Jarry,Brossoit,Blackwood,Jones,Raanta, Halak, Hill.
And of course, the Jets are playing down to all the realistic pessimism we had. Another regulation loss tonight to the Wild. And TBH, I had already assumed they were going to lose before this game even started, and they did not disappoint.
Good job Chevy. Claiming "we are going for it" and then sitting on his hands and again being conservative and not really changing anything.

So true
Poink is flips around like a whale when there's a two on one. Very predictable.

Pionk is too aggressive he try’s to be too much like Morrissey. I do not see him as an offensive defenceman.
The Jets are going to have a hard enough time making the playoffs meanwhile go far… look at Jets schedule it's a tough finish
