After Suzie lost her son to pancreatic cancer when he was just 30 years old, she learned that she had the same genetic mutation that caused the disease. A year later, doctors found a tumour on her liver.
Suzie faced multiple surgeries with a positive attitude that inspired those around her. Doctors believe she’s now cancer-free, and Suzie gets to focus on the things that she loves, like spending time with her daugther, Bernadette, who nominated her, and cheering on the Winnipeg Jets!
Congrats, Suzie on your incredible recovery and well-deserved Air Canada #ACFanFlight experience!
