Glad quickie has martinez, man miss both these guys, martinez with that OT stanley cup goal.. god that moment was surreal, seeing Martinez toss his gloves up with pure joy. Good luck boys, it will be great if we play in the playoffs
Such an awesome interview by Alec, typical Alec Martinez. He has always given teammates credit before himself. Alec was 100% spot on about Quickie, if it wasn’t for Quickie, the Cup wouldn’t have come to LA. But Alec has got to feel the same way about himself cause he scored some huge goals for us. As a Kings fan I’m so happy that Quickie has a couple of familiar faces/ teammates but he went to a very good organization in Vegas and I know that he’ll do very good in Vegas. If Vegas just keep healthy, they’ll win the Cup. I know that I’m going to get a lot of flack from Kings fans for saying that but my late father always told me not to hold grudges towards other teams but to have respect and if they win the Championship, then be happy for them cause they deserved to win and be happy for their fans cause they love their teams just as much as you do perhaps even more. So I’m speaking to the team and fans of Vegas, to every team and their fans. I’m telling you what my late father said to me. That was to never lose faith and that one day your will win the Championship. Maybe that’s why every year, no matter who wins the Cup. I’ve always had watched the raising of the Cup cause it’s such a great moment. I still have my autographed 30×48 picture of Alec when he scored the winning OT goal in 2014 on my wall
Poor guy having to play in a circus. I had the misfortune of attending a hockey game in Vegas. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It is a giant circus with a hockey game going on. The people have zero idea what hockey is, the actual game gets in the way of the star ridden big screen in the center of the cue, the idiotic band and cheer leaders, and the gas nothing to do with hockey between period crap on the ice. The stupidest thing of all … the ridiculous and unnecessary noise is unlovable and the chants of shame, shame, Shane when a player on the opposing team gets a penalty is embarrassing at best. Shame is right … it was a shame I wasted $138 US on this bullshit (left after the second period) and it is a shame what these clowns have done to hockey. Nice arena outside, inside it looks like a run down barn, and it is full of village idiots. NEVER AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM NHL GANES IN VEGAS, you are better off throwing your money into a slot machine! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
