  1. Dregs speaks the truth. This Leafs team sadly is no different than the rest. They tried, but they aren't built to win playoff hockey, they're built to win regular season games where no one hits anyone anymore.

  2. I never understand why Toronto is the most popular team in The People's Republic of Canada. For my money, Edmonton should be the most popular team.

  3. Yes. The Leafs are made for the playoffs. We're going out for blood. We're ready for a win in the playoffs. Don't say we're not ready. If you think the Leafs aren't ready for the playoffs, you're wrong. The time is now! No excuses, no heartbreak, no nothing!

  4. Fans around the NHL enjoy the early playoff exits of this Leaf core. It is an oxymoron to say the Leafs are built for playoff success. I sure want the Leafs to succeed against Tampa this spring. Main problems are players like Marner are overpaid to the point he doesn’t have to play well in the playoffs. So his playoff production drops 27 %. This year by moving Reilly out of a top pairing D – man position helps. Leafs will have to experiment to see which Leaf D – men work best in different situations. Around the league – NHL fans in general say the Leaf star forwards are soft & do not play well in the playoffs. But they are a very good regular season teams – Leafs fans should be grateful for that while it lasts.

  5. every year this boring old trope about built to win the playoffs and adding all these 4th line grinding type players is such nonsense lol
the more speed and skill and guys that are fantastic goal scorers the better, enough of this old school dinosaur goon it up mentality already lol

  6. I mean he didn't even watch the game lol yet is commenting on it like he did lol. We played very well defensively and Sammy was excellent hard fought game against the champs where not much was given up both ways so not really sure what they are trying to get at tbh. I mean Colorado's only goal was a lucky bounce lol. Sometimes I think these guys just pull shit out the air to try and nit pick at while giving the Leafs very little credit. Avs are an elite team and there is no shame in losing to them and the way we played against them.
