  1. So, is it going to be a good year if the Blues play competitive games, or is it a good year only if they make the playoffs? Giving the Flames, a team they need to climb above, 3 out of 4 points at home was not a good sign. Playing average hockey at home, and not being able to hold on to leads and winning in regulation at home has made making the playoffs very difficult for the Blues. For me, not making the playoffs at least, would make this year a disappointment.

  2. I think making the playoffs would be a positive thing for the Blues because off all the injuries and the up and down level of play during the season. The weak area on this team seems to be on the defense, granted they’ve had injuries but defending their own net on home ice has been a problem. I read an article about a defenseman in Arizona that they might trade for to make the Blue line stronger. They could be in trade negotiations to acquire him also O Reilly being traded to the Maple Leafs seems to be a possibility at the trade deadline.
