    I'll take the win, but as an Avs fan, this win leaves a bad taste in my mouth. That goal by Eller probably shouldn't have been a goal.

    might the all time worst call by a ref. plays dead, even Avs player gives up on it. SAD. Bone head calls like this cost teams big time.

    absolute braindead call by the ref on the Eller goal, one of the worst i've ever seen. Clearly should have been a whistle for icing, and it was also covered for 4+ seconds… disgusting.

    How many games have Colorado played back to back days? Then they take have 3-4 days off in a roll. Way too many and yet they are still winning. League needs to be better with scheduling because it’s kind of a joke right now.

    Should have been an icing no debate there, but at the same time… PLAY UNTIL YOU HEAR A WHISTLE! And also the ref blew the whistle with 4 seconds left because he couldnt see the puck for a couple seconds so thats a fair but unlucky timed whistle.

    how was that icing call not whistled. even if it wasn't icing he covered it. as an avs fan I am confused. I guess play until the whistle.

    Can someone explain to me why giroux also got a penalty when he had his stick held and then crosschecked when picking it up off the ice

    My only thought on the Eller goal is that at 5:16 the Ottawa player goes for the check rather than play the puck, therefore the ref rules it as no icing. Still very odd

    Non way the Sens lost because of the refs. They're constantly giving up early goals in the first 5 minutes of play. Always playing comeback hockey. Obviously, can't win like that. Blame the team and coach for never being ready at the start of games.

    The press of the skate into the ice to allow himself to slide 6 solid feet to the right to save that one timer was insane

    Wow what a crazy gw. 🚨, 🦓 waived off icing because goalie played it. He was raising his arm, but the players don’t dictate the whistles. Goalie played the puck. Smart head’s up play by veteran Lars Eller. No whistle, he kept playing. As the TSN PxP man said, “Avs’ stay w it!” Had the goalie let the puck slide past him, rather than playing it, icing would have been called. Lesson to players @ ALL levels, keep playing until u hear a whistle..

    And what a filthy snipe by Erod. Nice to c him get off the skid.

    I normally defend refs a lot of times, since I know how hard it is, even though in the leagues I ref we don’t have video and such to go back and look at.
    But wtf is happening atm in the NHL? I mean for real, does all the refs get their licenses if the corn flakes packages?
    Ellers goal should never been allowed and the last call should never have been blow down.
    I root for the avs, but this game shouldn’t have ended as it did. The avs should give the refs some flowers and cake after this robbery
