He says that guys who play well earn ice time. Well if thats the case it makes me wonder why Kostin who has 6 points in his last 7 games as a +5 gets 6-9 minutes a night and has barely been deserved of a spot in the lineup as of late. Not trying to be negative but I mean Kostin brings it every night and does a lot of good things. He 100% has not been given ice time while playing at a pretty high level. It only took shore a couple good games to take his spot on the team. Chances are when Hyman and Mcleod come back it will be Broberg and Kostin out again.
Great solid game. Showed some defensive stamina and did well against a top team. I'm very glad Jay mentioned those long dangerous cross ice passes that led to icings or time in own zone.
Not sure if Connor can get to 60- that is a shame as he could have made a name for himself on the active player – most goals in 1 season list. Oh well, his season is going pretty well so far. As for the Team, hope we can make the wild card !!! Go O

Regardless, there are still some mental, neutral zone pass issues…essentially, puck management, that we need to clean up. Especially with the post season looming.

I think going into the playoffs I hope they can get really hitting hard and wearing those teams down. Thats the last element to cultivate
