  1. MacFarland isn’t cutting it so far. Just hoping for Landy to save the day.

    Couldn’t even get 50% retained

  2. Eller is not a scorer, he's plays a defensive style of hockey, so saying that his best season came when he scored 39 points isn't really a fair assessment of him as a player.

  3. Eller is very solid, still strong in his own zone and on pk. 3rd line C

  4. Colorado doesn’t need to acquire big names. They have won 6 straight against the top of west. They have the best lineup/ chemistry in the league ask anyone around the locker room. JJ was a huge pickup. Now Eller. Getting Landy back before playoffs. They are set but I still think they bring in another piece

  5. Eller succeeds in the post season cause hes pretty big and keeps it simple. Playoff games are won in the trenches. Whats interesting is hes been playing 4th line this season and I wonder if the Avs keep Newhook at 3C. Guess much depends on if Helm comes back.

  6. Another real solid option. A bottom six shut down line option for sure. We don't really go that route but now certainly can. Any potential third line depth, a different kind of player than we have, is a massive thing. Especially how beat up the Avs have been. The avs have a solid top 7 defensemen. But the forwards needed to be 15 deep last year, and will probably need to be again.

  7. If im Joe Sakic I would try to get Radko Gudas from Florida. Gudas is a menice and tough to play against.
