It’s extremely frustrating watching this team especially at home and knowing how much better they would be with average much less above average goaltending.

Seattle played well but didn’t get the saves you need against good teams.

Seattle is basically guaranteed a Wild Card spot now. At least they’ll have road ice advantage.

  2. getthejpeg

The boys looked completely defeated walking back down the tunnel. They need to have a short memory and get ready for the road trip. Let’s bring some points home boys.

  3. tittiquette

So where does this leave us now exactly?

  4. Olbaidon

Well if we add Grubauer’s .700 to Jones’ .769 then I suppose .900 was still on the menu…….

  5. ThePrince_OfWhales

Despite the loss, I’m just glad I didn’t have to hear Leah Hextall climax every time the Oilers scored against the Kraken.

  6. dystopianr

Hopefully this can be like the Oilers game before the end of the year that put a kick into the team that sent them on a hot streak. The last 2 months have been rough

  7. BlackSnowMarine

Pitiful as fuck game when we needed this win badly. Plenty of hockey left this month but the top three spots are gonna be well out of reach if this keeps up. Hell we gotta keep an eye out on Calgary now, that’s how far we’re slipping 🙄

  8. Olbaidon

Well my prediction for the next 6 was:

    L, W, W, L, W, W

So I have that to hold onto….

  9. TheAtomicMonkey

You know, I was thinking in my head about proposing we add a hidden month to make the playoffs fall on an odd month as a joke, but I guess that’s already secretly passed.

  10. M-Houndoom2

Considering how well the Firebirds are doing right now, I thought Fuego’s presence at today’s game would have helped us get a second W in a row.

    Oh well. =(

  11. I love our 3rd line (they are my favorite) but I suspect it’s not a good sign that most of our production comes from them these past few games

  12. BenSoloGhost

If we could check someone in front of our goalie and stop turning it over in our zone…..that would be nice

  13. DG_BeardGains

Tough loss. But shrug it off and move on to the next. I like that this year we can be upset by these types because of our massive improvements. Playoffs are far from a guarantee for us, but I think we can do this!

  14. Redditor_Since_2013

Can we save some cap space and put a strawman in net?

  15. futuregoalie

Not the best first game of me having actual TV 😂 sorry everyone. Gru, I love you, feel better soon. Take good care and let’s try this again in a few days

  16. pokeroots

How are people convinced we’ve got the WC locked up… 3 teams are right on our ass, we need to beat 2 of them. And we play one of those teams back to back.

  17. Go_Hawks12

Flush it and figure it out the next 3 games. Bring up Dreidger, I’ve lost all faith in Jones

  18. shot-by-ford

Beniers just needs to start shooting again. Or get bumped down in the lines. Or maybe give the kid a week off, he’s probably exhausted.

  19. Gray_Bushed_Elder

This team will be a force to be reckoned with when we have a goalie that isn’t completely dependent on our defense.

  20. steppewarhawk

Despite how it feels, this month we are 5-3-1 so far. Not bad. Not ideal, but not bad. Just gotta finish out strong

  21. seattlesportsguy

It honestly would not surprise me if this team choked the playoffs away altogether based on how they’re playing. I know they have a huge lead but nothing is clinched and right now they have a look of a team tanking for Bedard than they do of a playoff team.

  22. B9RV2WUN

If Kraken don’t make the playoffs, which is a real possibility, it’s going to be because of goaltending. Not even average. Stop the ones you’re supposed to stop and stop a few you’re not supposed to stop. Is that too much to ask for?

  23. SonOfZork

Real tired of traipsing down to games and watching poor defense and rank goaltending. I’ve been to 12 games this season and we’ve won 3. YTF are they so bad at home? And in the summer, could we get someone that can win a faceoff? Or a coach that could teach the players to win one?
