And we dropped to third in the Central…sigh

  2. fastal_12147

What’s the percentage of challenges won for Eastern teams vs Western teams? Seems like we’re always getting at least one overturned when we played someone from the East

  3. MistahFinch

I’ll take that effort. We put 4 past Ullmark. That’s more than most teams can say.

No Kaprizov or Brodin and we still held in. Can’t win every night especially against teams like Boston

    On to the caps tomorrow

Wild have struggled entering the o zone but this game has made it very evident they need to clean it up. Bruins are a tough team though and happy that we could’ve had them

  5. KaprizusKhrist

Every time I see that Red Wing boots commercial I can only think how unrealistic it is.

Challenging for offside needs to be taken out back and shot. If the linesman misses a call, then he misses a call. It’s a fast-paced game, and scoring should reflect that. That said, can’t wait for the team to get healthy again.

that 2nd goal getting called back is bullshit but i feel like we generally played well against the best team in the league without several key pieces including our best player, so. the sky is not falling!

  8. Well we all knew how tough of game this was going to be even with a fully loaded squad. Sucks the winning/points streak came to an end but it was due to happen at some point.

All in all, boys played pretty well. Merrill/Addison pair struggled, Walker drew 2 penalties but hasn’t been the spark plug we were hoping to see. That 2nd overturned goal was BS and it hurt the game a bit. Hopefully we get Mids, Brods and Moose all can make it back tomorrow!! Can’t start slipping now!!

  9. shimmy_kimmel

Shitty but 2 overturned goals and missing Kaprizov, Brodin, Middleton, and Foligno.

Anytime you have to play Boston with Merrill, Addison, Goligoski, and Klingberg making up two thirds of your defensemen it’s gonna be a rough one.

    Edit: Duhaime out too

This is what it is going to be like come playoff time. Not very enthused about being able to beat either the Avs or the Stars.

  11. Shiz0Freakaz

Fuck Boston! The defence was abysmal, wtf was Addison trying to do on the 4th goal?

  12. KaprizFox

Masterclass officiating as always. Although they DID have plenty of PP opportunities that got absolutely wasted, especially the 5 on 3

  13. We lost. It happens. Streak was bound to end. No shame in this game. If I have to pin point one moment we must score in 5v3 pp, otherwise nothing to worry about. Now let’s hope boys can shake it up and beat the Caps tomorrow. With this kind of effort you won’t win every game but sure you’ll win a lot of them.

  14. All things considered:
-Considering our offensive drought, we did technically get the puck into the net 3 times. Offsides being what it is couple of inches made the difference.

-I think overall the team played really well with the exception of a few people that really played atrociously (cough cough..Merill..cough cough). I think we held our own against an otherwise historic team really well.

We could have won this. I didn’t think that would be possible 2 months ago.

    Oh well moving on.
