Team looks good. Now it needs to gel. The Edmonton game was like a preseason game with so many new players jumping over the boards. Calgary, the next day, was a solid gelling experience. A 2-1 win for the Buds. Toronto took Tampa to game 7 last year and looked pretty good. Let's hope this year the "Core Four" show even more spit and vinegar and heart. Now they have some Marines to back them up on the bottom six.

Calgary fan here. I watched every game Zohorna played with the big club. Sutter doesn’t like playing kids so we tend to watch them intently when they come around.
Pros: he’s really big and knows how to use it, wingspan of a California condor and stick checks well, aggressive without taking dumb penalties, offensively creative, smart defensively, doesn’t look out of place in the nhl.
Cons: his shot is not super accurate or hard, he doesn’t play with skilled guys who can make the most of the space he creates for them generally so his being offensively creative is not as impactful, ceiling is likely as a third or 4th liner at best as he just doesn’t skate well enough to play higher.
Hope hunt plays well here in CGY. I think you guys will love zohorna.
