  1. Couple minutes from puck drop!
Love an NHL debut, particularly a top pick!!!

  2. Nice to see the beginning of a major piece of core of the future Red Wings!

BTW: we're not expecting Sieder 2.0 we are expecting Edvinsson 1.0😁

  3. He was a tad bit soft and a little lackadaisical in preseason. He also seemed to tire easily. Hopefully he has toughened up somewhat. I'm not trying to trash the kid, just saying what I saw. I have high hopes for him.

  4. I’ve seen him play 3 times in Grand Rapids so far. Smooth skater. Sound offensive and defensive. Not at all physical at this time. Will have to be for the NHL

  5. I thought he looked good today, a couple nice takeaways, a big hit, and 1 stretch pass from behind our own goalie to the opposite blue line, that made me audibly go "oooo", for an easy high quality shot attempt

  6. i was at the game and wow he played well he has a lot of confidence just needs to learn when to jump in and when to hold back very bright future for him

  7. Wasn't a bad debut. There were times where he knew what to do and there were times he got lost out there. We will see how quickly he learns.

  8. Excited for what we still have zero top end talent coming up, new bad contracts to weigh us down and more draft picks to sit on and "devlope". They were supposed to be playing meaningful games in March but like the last 4 years they sold everything AGAIN and get a nice month long death march to the end of the season. This rebuild has failed and if the wings had a real owner and less yzerman simp fans there would be talk of firing this clown

  9. Dudes got skills but seems to be missing hockey IQ… struggles to find the best play

  10. He did not look out of place what so ever yesterday. A small sample size though. See if he has same night on Monday. Kid has some upside. Yzerman has done a good job of drafting prospects in Tampa and it’s looking good for the wings. Going to take some time. After this draft he will be able to dump picks for NHL ready players to help move rebuild along.
