I also hope he goes to a bigger market team because for us hockey fans, it will be more exciting. However, if he goes to a team like Arizona, Anaheim, etc. it could be better for the overall growth of the game, similar to when Wayne went to LA and grew the game out in California. Either way, he's going to be a phenom to spectate! Can't wait to see him progress into his prime like McDavid right now.
What a travesty if he were to end up playing in Columbus. Let's hope the fix is in.

Not sure why you're using stats from a lower level to reinforce Bedard's value when that list would lead you to believe (using that metric) that McDavid is the worst of that group, which is a ridiculous thought. That is an amazing group of hockey players but if you try to make the argument that McDavid is anything but the far and away best hockey player of that group, I'm going to seriously question your hockey knowledge.
So Columbus does not “deserve” Bedard? LMAO What does a team needs to do to “deserve” a franchise player? Columbus deserves a chance to take a crack at the cup. You mentioned Jonny and Patty but you forgot to mention that they have one of the best young prospects pool with Dumais, Mateychuk, Svozil, Del Bell Beluz, Ceulemans as well as incredibly talented rookies like Marchenko, Johnson, Jiricek, Sillinger. Isn’t Bedard better off in an organizations that builds a proper team for years to thrive? Or is the glory reserved only for the “selected” teams in NHL and everyone else is supposed spend eternity in the middle of the league? Your take is shallow and pathetic.
Sid played in the Q and competition was seemingly weaker. Plus Sid did have probably a better first line than Bedard.
