  1. First of all, Comcast has owned the Flyers since 1996.
Second, Hextall set the franchise back a decade by his terrible drafts.
Fletcher was equally terrible with his long term contracts.
It's a mess and needs a total tear down.

  2. Having too many cooks in the kitchen is the Comcast way. Even on the business side there was 20 people making decisions and nothing ever got done

  3. Real flyers fans have been calling for a rebuild for the last 3 seasons… the media, Comcast, and Fletcher were trying to gas light us into thinking we were still good enough to compete just to sell tickets…

  4. Time for Mr. Clark to retire. He's been a Joe Biden for years. Come on man!

  5. so much shit has gone wrong from the Flyers. Mismanaged draft picks, bad trades, the Nolan Patrick injury, terrible contracts. You name the Flyers have had it happen! Full rebuild is the only way. Trade everyone!

  6. Next move?. I'd try to unload some of those really bad contracts; if possible. Fletcher chained the entire Organization to a Cap Hell for the next several years. THANKS Chuckles.

  7. Rangers game absolutely crushed the Flyers organization, place was like Madison Square Garden. Welcome to the basement, Flyers fans – gonna be a loooooong climb out

  8. As a lifelong Flyers (and former Season Ticket holder who gave up our tickets a few years ago), this goes deeper than Chuck Fletcher.

Dave Scott is the problem. He has been the CEO of the team since Snider passed in 2016 (and essentially running it since 2013 when Snider was diagnosed with Cancer). Scott wasn’t a hockey guy as he was running Comcast and they installed him to run the Flyers.

Scott has refused to OK a real rebuild for a decade so every season we do these ‘retooling’ of the team. Every move is a short-term move, and there is no vision for cap flexibility as we are up against it season after season.

Hextall, Fletcher, Hakstol, Vigneault, Tortorella have all yielded the same results in the last decade: mediocrity. That’s why you have to look at top as Scott is the problem. The Flyers missed the playoffs 8 times from 1967-2012. They’ve missed the playoffs 7 times in the past decade. It’s an embarrassment. There is no way they get my $$$ as a Season Ticket holder until Comcast sells.

  9. The biggest problem outside of management is that the team has absolutely NO identity. People say they try to "relive" the Bully days but they don't, they have one or two guys who barely throw their weight around. They aren't particularly high skilled, they aren't a smart or good defensive team, they don't do the little things well, they go for broke trying to retool but when the season is an OBVIOUS flop, they don't sell off valuable pieces who could help a contending team (looking at JVR, looking at Scotty Laughton, Provy). They don't value draft capital enough because they trade draft picks away so they can aquire mediocre defensemen. Hell they traded draft capital away so they could unload Ghost, only to trade more draft capital to sign a worse version of him in Tony Deangelo. The whole thing is a mess, it starts with management. We have some good young pieces but this team NEEDS an identity, without that we'll be spinning our wheels for another decade.

  10. As long as NBC (WOKE DBAGZZZ) owns this team, NOTHING will improve except maybe more rainbow nights.

  11. I don't blame Whit for not watching the Flyers play ever. He got his ass kicked every time he faced the Flyers.

  12. Homer/ Clarke/ Barber. Love em. No more influence…. Scott should sell the franchise, hate to have it leave the Snyder family…but this isn't the Snyder family anymore anyway
