Hey at least we’re competitive in games even though we aren’t winning… oh wait.

  2. china-boy-tom

I can’t believe people bring their kids to sabres games.

  3. Son_Of_The_Empire

In honor of Japan being in the WBC finals, and the Sabres’ recent games, I am going to commit seppuku on center ice

  4. zamend229

Just 1 month ago I actually enjoyed watching the Sabres. I’m just dumbfounded at this point and ready for MLB to start up

  5. 3rdEyeJoker

For the rest of season I just hope boys can somehow get to 40 wins

  6. SergeantBleuCheese

At the game and I’ve honestly never yawned as much as the last half of the game. Tage fight and hit were alright then nothing of entertainment value

  7. sarcastic_man_13

Andy should be shut down for the rest of the season. Not one reason he should be playing games unless the other 3 guys get hurt.

Listen, the last period is what I want to see from this team. That’s what a “young team” looks like, down but still fighting. It sucks that they had their asses handed to them several times to find something to fight for, but let’s hope they can carry that energy forward.

Whelp that wasn’t good. It hasn’t been good for a little while. But I still love the sabres, will cheer for them and support them. I’ve been a fan since the 80s and am not going to stop now. Win or lose, they’re my team.

  10. 2022-23 Sabres through 59:
    31-24-4 66 pts
    Next 11:
    2-7-2

    2021-22 Devils through 59:
    22-32-5
    Next 11:
    2-8-1

So Im just hoping we’re a better version of the Devils one year behind them in the development path.

Maybe it’s time to give Devon Levi a couple starts. We have nothing to lose at this point and it would be good to see him play at the
NHL level for a couple games. Heck bring up Kulich while we are at it.

  12. Had my hopes up for this one, not gonna lie. I thought for sure we were gonna be pissed and come out and really play. And to be fair, tonight truly was on Anderson more than anything. But still, the same problems. Poor defensive positioning. Was it just me, or did Joki look below horrible tonight? Like so bad I would have sit him the rest of the game. I may rewatch just to see what was happening with him, he looked like me playing “defense” in Be A Pro.

It’s time to call the playoff run. We’re not there and it’s not happening. Time to give Levi as many games as he can take, maybe get Johnson here when the Frozen Four ends, and just accept that we’re in the Bedard lottery. Maybe let Dahlin and the other injured players sit.

    Some positives:

    * Krebs looked great. He’s becoming a legit grinder and I think he’s going to have a breakout season next year.

    * Quinn and Peterka continue to look good. Excited for next season.

    * Hopefully Skinner and Thommer can get going after scoring tonight.

This is the first time the Bufflao Sabre have posted a minus 14 goal differential over three consecutive games since 2004. They were two off setting a record. They are even disappointing as losers.

  14. Chemical-Ad-1274

This is why we need Samuelsson back also to this is why we need better defense

  15. shankle119

You have to change goalies after the disallowed goal, i mean i am not putting this on anderson i didnt really watch closely enough to make that judgement but this whole letting a goalie keep playing after 4 goals when youre not scoring, is not working. But instead we leave our goalies in when they might be having a bad night. Thats just my opinion, i do think sometimes a goalie change midgame can reset the players a little.

  16. TheFerricGenum

I think the stretch of bad calls, stupid choices, and some bad luck finally broke the kids’ spirit. They’re playing like they aren’t feeling like giving 100% anymore and that they don’t believe they can make the playoffs.

I’m going to take solace in the fact that they made it through March before this happened, after battling back from a tough stretch in November. Also, if we continue to slide, our chances at Bedard get better. So… silver lining?

  17. Man these games are tank levels of tough to watch. The the best part of this season was that almost all their games were fun and competitive. These recent games have been unwatchable.

  18. the_kanamit

Things that are not mutually exclusive: our skaters playing terrible defence and our goaltenders sucking.

  19. RedditorDave

I got free tickets at center ice in the 200 level, bet Nashville moneyline, bet duchane to score… and I’m still sad lmao I hate it here.

  20. HilmDave

I’d be less pissed if we needed another star forward (Bedard) but jesus dude there’s just no upside to this shit.

  21. ShylocksEstrangedDog

Remember a few weeks ago when we were all like, “wildcard? Tampa better lookout cuz we’re coming for that 3rd Atlantic spot. Haha just playing, unless 🤔”

  22. Green_hippo17

Welp, in the two games I’ve been too the sabres have been outscored 14-5.

  23. PineappleSockzzz

Bro Levi is gonna be the starter by next week if he’s just mediocre 💀.

  24. CantTochThis92

Just coming in here because I hear other teams fanbases talking about “saves”. What are those and how do we get some?

Aren’t goalies supposed to allow every single chance against? That’s how it works right?
