Today is the day the wings sign Logan Morrison I’m willing it into existence.
Question: Does anyone know which sections unfurl the giant flag at the beginning of the game? Just acquired seats in the end, and hoping that the giant flag goes over our section.
The first couple games of Edvinsson were very encouraging I thought.
Offensively he was able to show what he was always capable of in terms of beating pressure, supporting possession, and creating scoring chances. The back end stuff though was the best to see.
Having watched him in person at training camp this summer I thought he really struggled with his defensive timing and recognition of danger. It makes sense coming from the European game but he always seemed to think that he had time and space on the back end that he didn’t and it burned him a lot. The year in the A seems to have gone a long way toward curing that.
In those two games I thought he did really well at timing his challenges and using his size and reach to eat up opposing player’s space, things that he was not doing when he first came over to the small ice. He also backed some guys down in the post-whistle shenanigans. Good stuff.
First and foremost? Get a new goal horn! We need to get this trending and to Chris Ilitch.
Second? Rub a leprechaun, get your rabbits paws, find a penny heads up, and do whatever good luck dance you can… let’s get some Draft Lottery Luck! This hopefully will be last year needing it. We haven’t had it yet!! In our history.

Small sample size and all but something to keep an eye on
Saw Zadina scored last night and went down the stat wormhole. Since 2019, Zadina has played four seasons of 28+ games. Each season he’s produced a lower points per game than the previous year. He’s not even remotely close to last year’s pace with not many games left this season too. Crazy.
Was at the game last night, and the Perron tribute was top-notch. I was super disappointed however because it seemed like most people in Wings jerseys stayed seated.
