God, the Canucks drive me crazy. Why would you make a coaching change mid season? They’re playing better but to what end? They should have rode out the season under Boudreau and have better lottery odds. Instead they are going to do what they always do, finish just outside the playoffs.

We are making these short new extensions with our new additional players to see how we progress into the coming years with our essential core players ( Demko Miller Hughes Petey ) . With Tocchet taking over as well and getting 4 victories in a row, we’d like to see if he is the right fit for long term coaching; Which we think he will be. For the win against Ottawa I’d say we played a little skittish near the start of the game but as it progressed and we got our feet moving and under us we took the game at hand. For the late goal and penalty by Hughes is not to be worried about but more of a fluke play at the wrong time. Thank you for your insight Canucks Clay, and for mine. Go Canucks Go!
Di Guiseppe Will Deliver! I've seen him play & he's got some skills, fast, smart & hard working. I think that's a good 2 yr deal for him & Vancouver! As for the 5-2 win over Ottawa, I was hoping for a shutout for Demko. Canuck defense is still lacking & looking forward to see Hronek play.

Di Giuseppe is another Tyler Motte which we miss, or a Bunting kind of player, with energy, skill, a digger, grit & some hockey IQ. Awesome to seeing him play on top lines to help make the stars shine more & protect them as well. Hope that continues.
Wish we could have it all & lose for a great draft pic, but what will be will be it seems. Exciting seeing them have a winning spirit & players desire to stay or new players free agents to come here. 👍

I think BRADY TKACHUK seems to be avoiding a fight with JT MILLER, probably MATTHEW Tkachuk warned him about the BAD LUCK that will befall the SENS if he did fight JT like he did with the FLAMES cause JT looks like DEAN WINCHESTER (JENSEN ACKLES)………SUPERNATURAL. And by the way I would rather see CLAY sing this song with the piano than see him dance… sing this instead….Chichi Wo Motomete (I Want Father ).

He's a good 4th line grinder. I have no problem with it. I have a problem with putting themselves in a position where they're over the cap next year and teams know it, so they're less likely to take one of the Canucks' bigger contracts in a fair deal. They're also continuing to act like they're a contender by giving up picks and prospects. If you look at what Detroit is doing, they're going to be a contender soon because they did their rebuild correctly. They saw that they weren't making the playoffs and they became a seller. The Canucks haven't made the playoffs legitimately without a bubble for years, and they're still buying. People are arguing that the Canucks have to do something to make the playoffs next year because they haven't done it for a long time. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
