  1. Guys just because the announcer mistakenly says hook doesn't mean that's what was called. The one handed swing right on Miller's hand is was got called..for slashing

  2. Theodore should not have touched him with his stick like that since it drew a pen and did not even help Quick.

With that being said this was not a penalty but you asking to be called for one since refs will assume you did.

  3. Imagine calling this a penality and go watch the last play in the Montreal vs Tampa game. There was no call on that play lol

  4. It’s a hook because it made contact and changed his movement. Even if it’s small it’s still a hook.

  5. Poor call by the ref. At worst maybe a slash but even that's stretching it. Beauty goal on the penalty shot though.

  6. 1. the call was a slash not a hook like the announcers said.
    2. Yes the call was soft but in real time when you see the stick near the hands and the player loses control of the puck like that and doesn’t get a shot off it normally means there was a penalty there.
    3. Stop whining about a “bad” call when clearly it was a penalty soft or not

  7. That wasn't a penalty. I am a Canucks fan and even I can admit that. So weak. Good goal on the penalty shot but shouldn't have been called.

  8. the legendary Canucks whom are destined to finish 12th for the rest of eternity and the only team who is never going to win a cup.
