    Stuff like this is why I think some of the worrying about Nick Bobrov is a bit overboard. Like clearly we have a lot of very smart voices in that room making cases for prospects, it’s not just one person deciding who we draft. Eric Crawford is in that room, Chris Boucher is in that room, I feel like we’re in good hands even if Bobrov doesn’t have a killer draft record.

    I guess the scary thought here is that we could eventually lose Hudson if he doesnt sign with us. Let’s hope he doesn’t pull and ‘Adam Fox” and leave

    I would’ve drafted him with the 26th OA, still can’t believe we got him at 62! Size worries by NHL scouts got us Cole and Lane!

    A great hire by bergevin, one of the bright spots from his era was revamping the scouting department. We’ve been doing a lot better in the 4 years we’ve had Eric

    The dude that was in the habs pre-draft video who was like “if we take Slafkovsky and it means we can draft smaller players later in the draft” is the real hero.

    He knew. He willed it into existence.

    I wouldn’t celebrate a scouting victory over this one. I was upset we didn’t take him at the end of the first round. We got extremely lucky that everybody else failed too.
