Connor McDavid became the first player in NHL history to score his 60th goal of the season in overtime, reaching the milestone in just 72 games, leading the Edmonton Oilers to their fifth straight win as they defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-3.

Coyotes are scary inconsistent but if they get this goaltending and this level of effort every night + add Bedard and like 1 more player just so the bottom 6 isnt all ahl players….I can see them becoming a dark horse. Similar to the devils last year.
This banking off the goal tenders upper body is bs! What if the puck hits the goalie in the lower neck area and cracks a vertebrae? The protection is meant for frontal impacts, much much less rear impacts. Accidents will happen but I think this is disrespectful.
This announcer sounds like he's having a heart attack…too loud and dramatic where not needed.

As a oilers fan, that was 100% a trip from dra along the boards before mcdavid scored the OT. You can see his stick pushes his footing out from underneath him causing him to fall and give up the puck. Idk how the refs didn’t call that. Especially since there’s four of them and only three player son each team. A lot of open ice and they still miss calls. But I’m glad edm to won regardless.
