  1. How is that only a minor penalty?????? If I were the ref in that situation I would've instantly thrown him out of the game

  2. The game is fast the guy turn last second cizicas is already committed to the hit smith turn around lowers himself too late at this point.

  3. Nothing good about that hit, just simply dirty, saw numbers while he was lining up the hit and he stapled the dudes head to the boards. This is just a bad play, these types of hits have no place in the NHL anymore

  4. Casey trying real hard to lead the league in 2 minute penalties. On the plus side hell of a game Isles played tonight. Sorokin is no doubt one of the best in the league and if Andy Greene is going to play like he did this game bring him back next year. He was fantastic.

  5. I think it's a good call for 2 minutes, because Cizikas definitely boarded him but Smith also put himself in a vulnerable position even knowing that someone was coming up on him to check. The injury looked to mostly be a result of that, and the lack of retaliation by the Hurricane players tells me that they think something similar.

  6. Nasty, he should have bailed on the hit, lucky he wasn't injured looking forward till the next game I bet he'll be fired up.

  7. Guys are risking their careers for a two-minute boarding call.
    STOP turning into the boards.
    STOP making the calls.

  8. Non-call. The canes player was turned sideways when the contact was made. He couldn't have been hurt too badly if he went into the runway and tried to watch it on the big screen!!

  9. Looked like cizikas tried to let up as much as he could at the end, hes not a dirty player, he plays hard…ive seen a lot worse go unpunished this year
