What was Torts thinking ? Benched Farabee for his bad performances lately. Inserted Lycksell into the line-up, finally, for a well deserved chance. But then the coach showed how much he hates the player by barely using him. Why even bring him on the road trip ? Benched 1 of the highest paid defensemen, Sanhiem, in his hometown where he had lots of family & friends in attendance. Thought he was supposed to be a trade candidate being showcased. Played the back-up goalie, who somehow managed to save the day. Coughed up a pair of 2 goal leads, got heavily out-shot, gave the Flames numerous scoring chances, looked asleep playing lethargic sloppy defense. Lost their best player to injury but somehow turned shit into a win.
