Pride goeth before the fall
They only want them to wear them pride jerseys so they. can groom the kids thinking it's OK the players are doing the right thing by not. Wearing them because they're not groomers like the owners are.
The ridiculous thing about this is that many of those they are virtue signaling for aren't the hockey type.
This is not about equality, it is about shoving their beliefs down our throat. The pendulum swings and soon they will be pushed back to the closet, not for being gay, but for being outright annoying.
NHL is going in hard of the LGBT stuff because they league is like 99% white male so they feel they need to because of that
The NHL is really going way too far with all these Pride Nights its excessive and its way out of line, I'm getting tired of these Pride Nights, I am tired of pride being everywhere its excessive, disturbing, and honestly creepy. It is something I of course don't believe in, and its not for me, don't judge me for my lifestyle, I'm glad some players are just saying no to this. I want some more!!!

People that use terms like homophobic do not even know the meaning of the term, it means someone who has a fear that they may be homosexual or could become one, not that they are afraid of them. It is just the woke society labeling people, which is ironic as they claim to hate labels.
They are cowards! Hiding behind religion. Really pathetic. The LGBTQ+ community is under attack in a similar way to how we treated different people in history. It's PLAIN and SIMPLE, culture changes and you can decide to be on the wrong side, and you can deal with the consequences. It's not rocket science to understand and feel empathy towards people. But you choose to stand behind ingnorance, hatred, fear, and your own self loathing. Never ONCE have a heard an honest response to someone against pride night or anything similar. JUST COWARDS HIDING. Be honest with everyone and just say what you mean.

It's spring break and the kids are out of school. I was looking for something to do and about to get some panthers tickets then I seen it was pride night bs and decided to do something else.
It's just a gamble the NHL took to take in more advertising dollars, is my guess. Just the mask mandates, the NHL front offices thought they could get away with it. The apparent complacency of the general public has been underestimated. The fans and the players have now had enough of the propaganda and wokeness being pushed.
I have been watching the NHL since 1971. If the league now shoves this progressive's politics woke bs in my face. I can live without the NHL. And I am thoroughly ashamed of all the players who went along to get along. To me they have no real courage, not true bravery, no balls. I would have refused to wear the rainbow jersey. And no one ever apologize for being Christian. The question is if they try this then why can't other politics demand equal time. Then advertise on the boards people's political views. Why then not go all out for gender fluid night. Why not include drafting gender fluid persons on teams too to be inclusive so as to not offend gender fluids. have female NHL players also to include womans lib. or else be sued. If they want to self-destruct just go all in. I was a fan of Maurice in Hartford before. This time he talks like a sellout.
