Some kid is trying to save his job. That’s a Jim Benning move right there. Toronto needs depth on defense. They would have been better off even if they got Luke Schenn for a 3rd round pick.
Try winning a Cup and then someone might care.
I'm just here to say Canada's team
32 thoughts and I'm the 32nd like 👍🏾
It cost less than Meier. They got Acciari too. They brought in a leader and Stanley cup winner who’s one of the best 2 way centres in the league
Great move by the Leafs. ROR is a stud and a great leader a champion on the blues and this is coming from a Hawks fan. I wish the Leafs the best. You guys got the talent that depth hopefully they can put it all together now. Time is now
Ron’s so hard to watch jeez
Why sign Miller, lose Horvat, and then trade Miller? If they do ok, but if they retain salary I’m just gonna look away for 8 years.
Noticed they passed on kane
Amazing they pulled this trade off
I have no idea why no teams are sniffing around trying to pluck Karl Vejmelka out of Arizona. If I was Edmonton I would be trying my hardest to get him and send campbell back the other way even if I had to pay more picks for or prospects for it. Skinner–Vejmelka tandem would be great. If I'm colorado this summer I'm making a play for vejmelka to come in and back up gergiev if Frankie can't stay healthy for more than a month at a time seemingly.

1 thought is because John Tavares is a over paid bum. Talk about that.
We didn't need a forward. We have plenty. The reason we lacked the scoring was nobody was there to protect them and make them feel confident and safe. We need an enforcer and 2 big heavy hitting puck shooting blueliners. We could have saved picks.
Still need physical defenseman with hard point shot for playoffs. Nobody wants their beer league players. Take a chance and pull the trigger on a big deal. Tavaras and Robertson for Eric Karlsson for example then make O ' Reilly captain. Sounds a little out there, I know, but they'd have a better playoff team
Jeff is right, people who wear glasses r geeks (losers)
Elliot didn’t cough. He may survive the jab after all.
Self proclaimed personality 😅
cause leaf owners have said to kyle last shot before your done and you cant spend any more.
IT's time for Ron Maclean to go- !!!
Should’ve got Chychrun instead.
Ron Maclean is a goof
The Leafs have always been close to going deep in the playoffs. They can add good players each time but without real heart and killer instinct they will fail. This acquisition is promising. They showed stronger will against Tampa last year than the year previous against Montreal but they must summon a fierceness from their psyches if they want to go deep into the playoffs and ultimately challenge for the Stanley Cup.
And now Tavares is redundant as an 11m winger? Without defense you cannot win the East: fact
