I wouldn't mind seeing Hart in Detroit because frankly Ned is done in Detroit and Hellberg is ok but in his 30's. The problem though you would have almost 9 million then tied up in goaltenders. Husso makes almost 5 million

Surprising that they'd want to move on from him. Ottawa should probably look into acquiring him since they've been having goaltending issues and could use that true starting goaltender to win those important games that will be enough to get into the playoffs.
You know how many years the Flyers have blamed their goalies ..lol it is a disease.ALL the goalies in the nhl are as good as their team in front of them not one single goalie will turn a bad team into a winning team.
Now as to Hart i was there watching him live trying our for Team Canada I didn't know anything about but he impressed me.The one problem he had was very obvious and that was he was bad with shots between the legs which tells me he is not keeping his stick on the ice in front of him.If I had to compare the STYLE i saw in Hart he reminded me opf Carey Price he was very calm and steady in the net.
Save % doesn't cut it as it is not a stat that tells the whole story about a goalie.
I bet if you cross section those off/on years you will see the same stats from the leaders including injuries.I remember Giroux had a couple weak seasons and in the off season he said he wanted to prove people wrong and bounced back with a huge season.The Habs are not on the road to getting better they might add better players but the teams systems are terrible StLouis needs to step up as a true coach.
As to Seattle you kidding me,i have personally watched Jones play amazing in net like making crazy saves.I can even point to another goalie i feel is a real good goalie Elvis Merzlikins he had an amazing season a few years back but when the team in front of him got bad so did he and that is the true reality goalies are only as good as the team.
I can point to more Binnington a nobody now because St.L is a nobody team.What about Darcy kuemper everyone was raving about him because COLO won the cup where is he now?Bottom line people are very dumb when it comes to analyzing goalies like that Vegas rookie geesh I remember when the mighty Penguins had a rookie goalie "Lalime" start the season 9-0 it is NOT the goalie ..hello !!

As a Flyers fan i don't see Hart getting moved right away .Ersson has played well so far in the NHLand it's one season . Ersson i think the Flyers give him a longer look before they do anything with Hart.. Hart is a good young Goalie he only down fall he can't stay Healthy right now. With Flyers unloading Bob to the Blue Jackets when he was so young .Hart should get a longer look then normal .

What is it with former Sabres players being in upper management (GM)? Mike Greer, Chris Drury, Danny Briere… I mean I’m all for it as a Sabres fan.
He’s had a couple rough years on a down team but he has great potential. Make a deal for picks a prospects and give him a fresh start with a new team. Buffalo needs a goalie and have a really solid prospect pool Depending on the ask it could work.

If the Flyers give up a 24 year old franchise goalie who hasn’t even entered his prime yet for anything less than a package for McDavid, I’m done with them. Why would you give up a proven commodity for assets that may never pan out? His prime will be 27-35.
I would like to see us give up Merzlikins and a necessary draft pick or two (within reason), for him.
Would kinda be crazy if Hart get traded to Montreal is idol was Price so being Price replacement would kinda be exciting

What about a trade possibility for Hart in Montreal with a package deal including something like Cayden Primeau, Arber Xhekaj with a high prospect or draft pick.
It seems that Briere wants to bring back the Flyers culture and I would see Xhekaj fit this philosophy. Primeau would obviously follows his father path and have a chance in Phildalphia. Otherwise, I don't see why Philadelphia would move Hart but I would love to see Hart here in Montreal !
Habs still has some young great prospect in defence. Mailloux, Strubble, Hutson. They will have to make them some place in the near future.
Hart to New Jersey for Akira shmid, Alex holtz, chase stillman, 2024 3rd rounder, 2025 2nd rounder.

Carter needs to go. The Flyers are ruining his youth. I don't want him to go, but he needs to. Thing to consider is yes, Ersson looks good but it's been a small sample size. If they draft a goaltender, that would be a sure bet that he'll be traded.
