  1. Nate MacKinnon shut down Conor McDavid in the playoffs last year…with a little help from Cale Makar. Then MacKdaddy won a Cup. Sooooo yes it was worth the money. Oh yeah Nate is STILL only making 6 million this year.

  2. If you people think mackinnon is overrrated becasue he has no 100 point seasons you dont understand hockey lmao

  3. You’re comparing to McDavid contract of then, The contract of now would be much more than McKinnon‘s. if Makena played a full season, and stayed on the same point for game pace he is now l, he would be just one point under Draisaitl

  4. Mcdavid’s defense is crazy underrated. McKinnon still has him beat but the disrespect to mcdavids d game is wild

  5. That’s part of the problem 1 player is on pace to win multiple cups while the other 1 might never play for 1.

  6. I think Makar is a bit better than them both but I'm happy we're finally having a conversation about MacKinnon and McDavid without only looking at a points sheet in the regular season, and evaluating them as actual hockey players

  7. Mackinnon won a cup and dominated in the playoffs while raking up 2/3rds of the salary that McDavid did. Mack earned this pay day and I’m sure if McDavid wins a cup before his next contract he will probably earn that 15+ payday

  8. As Av's fan, I agree, MacK has even dropped the gloves a few times. McDavid is an hockey god, but he'll can only do so much. God vs Beast, I think Makar and MacK are a match made in hockey heaven, what sets a god from a beast, is that god can do what no others can but a beast can get his pack attacking just like him. Makar is great but I think MacK desire to win puts him on another level. But where ur wrong, MacK got speed with crafty hands, if u ever watched him. If not youtube NacKinnon's heightlights

  9. I wish we could see another Team Canada with active NHL players not just has been … we’d have one hell of a team ! 💪🏻😈
