After a dismal season, a home Flyers shutout win is just nice for the fans who still go. And against Detroit, even better.
The Boston-Lightning game showed two things. One is that Boston won’t be bullied anymore and Two is that if the Lightning play like this then Toronto is in for a long series.
If Seattle ends up pushing Edmonton out to the wild Card…..then are McPowerplay and co. "Really" a "good" team!?….. The West is weak as it is….but Man….not sure why McDavid is considered a shoe-in for the Hart Trophy….??
Ullmark will win Vezina by "default"….but we ALL know who the best Goalie in the league is this year … Sorokin.

John Tortorella hockey is Detroit’s problem. They are now 5-12-6 in their last 23 games against a John Tortorella coached team. 5-9-6 against Columbus from 2016 to 2021 and 0-3-0 against Philadelphia this year.
The one thing that could screw the Bruins in the playoffs is their power play. It's just not that good and opposing teams should go after them physically.
Beat them up. Tick them off. Take penalties. It's evident that Boston is better 5-on-5 and 4-on-4 than they are on the power play
Damn, this Bruins team can beat you any way they want to. Not looking forward to the prospect of the Leafs playing them in the playoffs.

I think a large part the lightnings struggles have come down to a busy schedule. For the past month they’ve played every other day with b2bs every weekend. A lot of games for a team that’s already played a lot. If they continue to play like they did today It’ll be a good series between them and the leafs.

I'm so tired of the referees interjecting themselves in the game. That clown show first period was just the beginning of what went on, and it almost ruined a genuinely great game. Playoff style games are going to have chirping, and the refs aren't going to call it come April. There is no reason Maroon should've been sent to the box other than the fact that Chris Rooney is a massive Boston homer. Just a complete joke.
