There is such a disconnect on what coaches and the league want and what fans want when it comes to physical play and fighting. I love Monty but he’s wrong saying the league is better now.
Under this guy's guidance, that powerhouse '71 club's regular season will be put aside in the record books. What we want is the ultimate outcome this time.

I think the league is worse off for the lack of fighting. I miss that type of hockey when the teams would carry a few goons to clean up out there. Bring back the goons

I am very curious about what Bruins fans believe around the difference between Montgomery and Cassidy. I have read Cassidy did not have the patience with younger players (DeBrusk, etc.) but now it seems like he was right to give DeBrusk some time, but Cassidy is a great coach. I would love to hear comments / replies below.
He's enjoying this as much as the rest of us. No worries, positive praise, mad knowledge of the game, LOVE this guy!! Special team play is 1000% better with our Monty. Let's go Bruins! No more shaving for me 'til Bergy raises the cup and the tears of joy flow!!!
I mean no disrespect towards anyone but I can't stand the Bruins lol but I been listening to Montgomery all season and what a great coach. The team is special through and through but I can see why players would do anything for the guy and organization. It's been an amazing year watching you guys melt ice all season regardless of my feelings lol.
