  1. Maybe he's always been like this, but the last year or 2 I've really noticed the bite or edge to Dahlin's game and I've quickly become a big fan of his as a fan of a different team

  2. No if they are going to let players turn there back then proceed to hit the opponent when it is illegal for the opponent to hit the other player from behind then I’m done watching this crap. If that was Nico going in for that hit then he would of been ejected. Dahlin took advantage of that because he knew it would either draw a penalty or a massive hit which it did. Very petty.

  3. Everyone calling this a clean hit. Need to be hit like this. Jumping off his feet to make the hit is cowardly don't expect much from a player like dhaulin

  4. love how soft NJ is HAHA – they literally had 0 response to TKO their captain

  5. Serious question, how is this not interference? He does not have possession of the puck nor does he touch it?

  6. Did Hischier just call Dahlin a pussy? Bros the one practically crying after a hit. Some captain eh.

  7. Jack Hughes is such a pussy 😂 jumping up once there’s 3 guys already on top of dahlin what do u expect from a New Jersey devil

  8. I hope hischier is okay but if he wants to fight after that clean hit then he deserves to get absolutely pummeled.

  9. They shouldn’t be fighting like this but Dahlin is gonna end up taking a beating in this league since he’s too pussy to stand up for himself

  10. Looks like Dahlin has been reading from the Peter Forsberg playbook. Nicely done.

  11. I’m not sure why the second feed calls it a dangerous hit. The puck is in play and it looks like Hischier is going to commit to contact also. It’s a defensive play, and it’s something we are all coached on. Just because it’s a captain doesn’t mean that you can’t touch them. Same for stars, and especially when they’re both. But if you’re gonna hit them, be ready for retaliation.

  12. I am utterly convinced that it’s a new player (& coaching) tactic to try and fight/rough after a big hit is laid as a way to get play blown dead and negate whatever advantage the hit provided. It’s only in the NHL, don’t see it in major junior or NCAA. Should be next point of emphasis rather then cross checking, slashing, or something.

  13. Because Dahlin Launched & Contracted the Head of the Devil..
Penalty: 8 Game Suspension. Not OK to leave Your skates then hit the noggin. 🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧

  14. Dahlin left his feet to do that. Sneaky dirty hit tbh. Also only 1 guy defending their Captain getting crunched smh New Jersey is soft

  15. I'm a big fan of Dahlin but you cant let this be allowable. Hischier did not touch the puck and he wasn't a physical threat to Dahlin. Reverse hits should only be when allowable when you're about to get hit.

  16. It’s kinda weird that even after all these clips of Dahlin reversing and evading checks that he’s not well known for it. It’s one of his biggest assets but no one really notices.

  17. Ray Ferarro is right, everytime he sees these he asks someone to explain how it's not interference. Hitting a player who doesn't have the puck….

  18. Love this move very interesting way 2 hit, i used 2 put mu elbow butt of stick up to chin just as i gonna get smacked (i was pretty small but maniac energy player) & this cracked a few jaws i even got away with it sometimes, but i was not gonna get pummeled by dude much bigger, always thought that big time dirty of big player going after me in over top heavy hit. POs gonna b BrUtaL I CANT WAIT!

  19. I'm all for reverse hits, but he did launch himself and made principle point of contact to the head

  20. Yupp, when someone does this on the canadian teams it's a fine. In the US it's in the week's highlights (as it should, reverse hits are awesome)
