I love during the live stream. Steve announced some advantage stats of the Leafs. Then the team started to play bad immediately after.

Leafs are way worse of a team then the stats show …….leafs Lose first round in 5 games …. Book it …. And I will say it now……. I TOLD YOU SO….. team is a disaster Sheldon is a horrible coach does not punish players who half ass their responsibilities….. the whole year has been wasted and it’s kyles fault

By making the playoffs the Leafs have about a 50% of being eliminated in the first round and about 6 % of winning a Stanley Cup. Last night in their loss the Leafs played well and it was an entertaining game. Guess the big question is – how can the Leafs become a better team than 15 others in the playoff tournament this spring?
I think the 11/7 keeps the players engaged. They can't sleep walk through a shift. Also allows you to let a Dman sit if he's not showing what you need him to. Liljegren needs to sit. Maybe he's injured but his head is not in the game.
Toronto has a good team this season but not enough to win the Cup. There are at least 6 teams ahead from them.

The Hurricanes have a 2nd half of a back-to-back 23 hours after the start of this game against a much more threatening team with yellow as a prominent color.
Refs definitely screwed up again. Matthews shooting the puck in the net after the whistle is blown is not continuation.
Carolina has had a lot of games this year where they were by far the more dominant team but still lost due to getting "goalied" or some really unlucky bounces.(I am looking at that game vs the Predators where Saros made like 50 saves). We deserved to finally have 1 game where we didn't play great but "goalied" someone else lol.
This was the first NHL game I went to and it did not disappoint.
That early whistle goal was a goal only toronto could score.
So…we all agree that 6:55 should be a Dang It, right?
Time for the Leafs to shake up the front office because Keefe doesn't have a clue what he's doing and Dubas was stupid enough to trade for Murray
It wasnt a good game … They looked terrible .. Lucky the Hurricanes forgot how to hit or shoot the Puck or it would have been 10-3 .. Lucky it wasnt New Jersey, Rangers or Bruins!!
The Leafs are possibly the most overrated team in nhl history … Nelander, Tavares look lost out there … Once the playoffs start and Perry puts tears in Matthews eyes by hitting him like a Tiger beats its prey!! Can't wait!! And the Leafs have an extra 4 guys on the ice at ALL times with all their BS goals allowed and dis allowed … Hope Matthews is taken out before game 1 of the Playoffs .. If not in Game 1 of the Playoffs!! Woooooo!!!

This was a hell of a game. I wish we had Svechie on the ice for Carolina. But I bought a Burns and Staal jersey that night when I was there and they got the first 2 goals. If only the luck held up going into the Bruins game… But once again foiled by the Refs.
