Ryan O’Reilly (finger) is “unlikely” to return this week, Sheldon Keefe says. “I think the plan is more to ramp him up through this week and then look more towards next (week).” O’Reilly didn’t practise with team today, but was on the ice doing individual skill work.

I mean as long as he is keeping his legs fresh, I see no reason to rush him back for what are likely meaningless games.

Makes sense but I am still sad.

    Hey Siri. Play Crawling

Next week makes more sense. Give him 5-6 games to get in game shape and feel comfortable with his linemates. Hopefully it’s 3C when he returns that’s what I’d like to see against the Bolts Game 1.

It would be nice for him to be in the lineup for our April 6th game against the Bruins, but no need to rush.

I’m going to the Detroit game on Sunday. Hoping he’s better by then and to see him on the ice!! 🤩🤩🤩

I’m going tomorrow. Was hoping to see him but if he’s not ready no reason to rush
