The New York Rangers were at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Rangers were on fire scoring three goals in the first period. The Rangers defeated the Blue Jackets 6-2.
Mika Zibanejad, Tarasenko, Kane, Trocheck and Panarin all scored a goal. Igor Shesterkin had 28 saves on 30 shots.

I've said this all season long and it's going to determine how far this team goes. If Igor plays great like he's been doing lately the Rangers wil win because their defense stinks but he bails them out time after time. If he doesn't play great and they score 6 goals like tonight they will still win. But if he doesn't play great and they don't score like tonight they'll lose because defensively they're awful and that won't suddenly change in the playoffs. It will be chants of Igor Igor Igor.
