Whose fault is it Timmins hasn't played? Timmins can't play defense. Whose fault is it he never learned?
It is a mistake to spend future cap increases before the cap goes up. Just as an example. Bally sports went broke and marginal money US teams lost money on that. Those are the teams they are holding the cap down for. Chicago and Boston don't have a lot of problems in a 100 million cap world. Arizona sure does. That said, 2.1 wouldn't be the end of the world.

Hopefully the Leafs will provide a repeat vs the Panthers of last week's impressive performance rather than the piss-poor effort the Jets put up last night vs the Sharks (a 3-0 loss having marked the 3rd shutout loss this month & the 6th after last preseason). As much as I believe the Leafs will have a hard time beating the Bolts in that 2023 playoff series, I don't see the Jets winning more than 1 game in their 1st-round series should they even make it.
