My understanding of upvote parties is that Reddit kind of frowns on them (karma farming is supposedly against the rules) but tolerates them primarily in sports subs for a kind of true community celebration for special occasions. Things like a major milestone being achieved, a major signing, or, you know, championships. (Perhaps, making the playoffs after more than a decade?)
I’m not sure upvote parties for other teams not taking two points in a game really meets the spirit of that allowance.
