Thomas and Buchnevich, both upper-body injuries, will not play Thursday in Chicago and could be out longer. Berube said “maybe” for Thomas Saturday in Nashville. With two centers gone, the team will try Kapanen in the middle Thurs. He has never played there regularly.

I’m not sure what happened to Robby, but Buch got pushed into the end of the bench where the boards start. It wasn’t a dirty play, just a tough high impact directly against the glass.
Surprise, surprise….Thomas is always injured it seems.
We’ve been winning too much can’t be having that.
“Lottery Related Reasons”
I hate Vancouver. Seems something like this always happens when we play them.
Whatever. Experiment away. That’s what this time should be used for.
I wonder why they don’t try Kyrou at center? He played center in junior. Guess it’s because of his defensive play.
Imagine if we win the next game lol
Time to shut Buch down for the year…get him sorted out and healthy for next season.
I wouldn’t be surprised if buch has a minor concussion after that high hit late in the game. Thomas missed a game a not too long ago due to “sickness” but Berube said his injury has been lingering so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the “sickness”. Thomas should be back soon but buch may be out the rest of the season.
Buchnevich really hit the rounded corner glass at the bench hard.
