#55 IS THE PROBLEM, let's just say it already. Everybody knows it. He thinks he's smarter than every coach in the NHL. He is not. But he certainly is more arrogant. They had a winning approach, from Bowness, and something changed. Now the team is splintered in their approach, and I believe Mark is one of the main reasons — likely because they're not playing the style HE wants to play, or not having the line mates that HE wants. And, Mark wants to float and be served up opportunities on a silver platter, and then say "look at me I can score goals cuz I'm so smart"! (forget defence, thats what defenceman are for…). I bet this has been going on for YEARS (I feel for Paul Maurice now more than ever). Put Jonsson-Fjallby in Mark's place. Seriously! I think Jets fans would rather watch guys like Axel who give everything 100% every shift and can follow a game plan. What we are seeing now is way too frustrating — not just because they lose — but mostly because of the lack of drive to give 100% FOR THE TEAM — even if they don't 100% agree with the coach. This is the maturity #55 does not have, and he may never have in his life unless he truly checks his ego. And mark, I think God would agree with that "plan". For the first time in 12 years, I cannot bring myself to watch another Jets game.
There has been whispers about Scheifele and Wheeler for a while now, about how they are in the room. It has sounded like they make for a toxic environment. Unless the Jets move on from those guys, nothing is going to change. Even if they make the playoffs, do you honestly see them beating anyone? They are just going to be playoff road apples, for teams to step around. Unless Hellebuyck stands on his head every game, they aren't beating anyone. They most certainly aren't real contenders.
It feels like Sheifele is having a tantrum because he feels the.Jets didn't show they wanted to win by making a BIG splash at the trade deadline. My opinion. It also seems like the top.guys are saying "ok nino and nami it seems you are THE guys the team really thinks the world of" lol again, my opinion.

The core is rotten and when 55 goes elsewhere it will be a rude wake up call. The other team who gets him will be well aware of his attitude.
