Edit – remember when devils fans kept dogging on Kane after his first few games with the Rangers and bragging about getting Meier? Well Meier has 4 goals and **6** points through 13 games, and Kane has 5 goals and **9** points through 13 games. Our “34 year old bum” is outscoring the 26 year old lololol oh and also, Kane only has 2 less points than Bo Horvat despite Bo having played 11 more games.. That contract is gonna age like milk Isles lmfao

If the boys win tonight, they tie the Devils in points but NJD has the ROW tiebreaker by 4 right now. Not that it matters much, but I’m sick of hearing about it from the Rangers haters.
Edit: I stand corrected. Could’ve sworn ROW was the first tie breaker, not the second.

So here’s an interesting note with the Chytil contract. Chytil’s contract history almost identically mirrors Kreiders.
Kreider ELC > 2.5 m for 2 years > 4.6 m for 4 years> 6.5 m
Chytil ELC > 2.3 m for 2 years > 4.5 m for 4 years

I was at the Jan 7 OT loss game at the Rock and after the game a bunch of drunk ass Devils fans couldn’t think of anything better to talk shit to me except “enjoy going back to NYC” and “have fun sitting in the Holland Tunnel”. And man I just couldn’t help but laugh considering I live in Union County, NJ.
This is such a huge game. It’s going to feel like a playoff game and is a preview for the playoffs obviously as well.
Seriously debating spending $160+ to go to this game. Although I could just go to the bar and drink $160 worth of beer and imagine I’m there.
