Do us all, and Matthew a favour Leafs fans, don’t ruin the guy cause he’s not performing if he gets called up. Let him develop. Tons of college guys who excel down there don’t make it far in NHL. Just keep expectations low. It will save you grief.
In saying that, I hope he’s all they’re making him out to be but I’m not expecting much for my sanity.

My hope for him is a 45-50 pt player who can play a physical style of hockey in the top 6. We need that so bad.
15-20 goals a season playing with the big boys and I’d be over the moon.
