Should have easily been a longer suspension to Greer. There's no logic or common sense to anything the NHL does in terms of fines and suspensions. At minimum, Greer should have received five games.
If Greer was not on the Bruins (or Kings or Ducks), the suspension would have been longer. Now Lizotte only gets one for something even more egregious. WTF is the DPS thinking? Imagine that on Wednesday, if the Wild want to get out of the Central in the playoff and figure, it's only 1 game, so asks: "Who wants a day off? Let's see how good Makar plays without being able to chew his food?"
Look, I'm not a Mike Hoffman fan, but no one deserves this. You don't like a guy, fight him. No stick stuff. He makes pretty much unilaterally good points in this interview.
