Nearly every friggin game we start SLOW! We're never gonna win if we play 40 minutes a game we need a coach like keenan to light a fire under their asses! Same excuse
Can we please come out and play a good 1st period,seems to be the case in most games,that we don't,that was the difference.
It’s not gonna happen this year. This team has flaws that never get rectified. Gallant and players talk and talk about what they need to do and never do it on a consistent basis. Playoffs will end for them after first round. Then the empty talk will be over
Dave moline should ask gallant of why he can’t make ingame adjustments and play a full 60 and play consistently
Take this game with a grain of salt chill out in the comments about the Rangers losing in 6 The playoffs are entirely different season with more desperation and physical play. If the Rangers won would you be saying the same thing?

gallant doesn't have what it takes to get this team to be an elite team
Devils had far and away the more dangerous scoring chances. If not for Igor, it would've been 6-1 or 7-1. Gallant needs to be a little more honest with himself in what actually transpired in the game. Not quite as even as he portrayed it to be. Rangers are going to have a problem with this team in the playoffs. Better hope for a match up with Carolina.

This loss is on this joke of a coach all star lineup can’t even put up goals cus he has no system and no mid game adjustment just pressed the same button and is surprised that there’s no change of results we will be a first round exit because our coach is a clown change my mind
Just watched highlights. Ridiculous. Jersey could’ve had 5 first period goals if not for Shesky.
Gotta start better
Gallant is normally this evasive in summarizing the teams performance. He knows they cant win hockey games by giving up first period goals. The Devils looked and played faster and if that doesnt change the Ranger will have a tough time beating this team. Shesty kept this game close with great saves and Gallant was too quick to minimize that which means he knows it.
But NJ did dominate though. Rangers have better players but NJ plays better system.
i cant go to the pru center for the next 5 years since we dont win when i go. im 0-5 in the past few years so im done. cant say its been fun
Biggest mistake getting Kane. We need grit. We need north south guys. Not east west. Sick and tired of cross ice passes. This team going nowhere
